Shield Wrench

This was a technique often employed by the Vikings. Catch your opponent’s cutting or thrusting weapon in your shield, and then wrench it out of their hands by twisting the shield. Designate a single attacker using a thrusting or chopping melee weapon. If your opponent attempts to strike your shield but fails to destroy it, if you enter a Bind (tie roll), or if you roll a natural 20 in defense, then you may immediately make a contested strength check with a Free Dice. If you win the strength check, then they are disarmed.
